Lucas & Victoria
Making even the simplest moments of getting married feel intentional, elevated, and unforgettable.
Making the Beginning Worth Remembering
When Victoria asked me to join her and Lucas for the courthouse portion of their wedding and capture those moments for them, I felt incredibly honored. As her bridesmaid and a close friend, being invited into such an intimate part of their story meant so much to me.
There is something beautiful about the moments that happen before the celebration. The signatures, the quiet anticipation, the first few moments of officially becoming husband and wife. They may be simple, but they mark the beginning of something extraordinary.
We began at the courthouse, documenting the moments that made their marriage official. Afterward, we wandered through the lobby and stepped outside for portraits, capturing the details and candid moments that made the day feel uniquely theirs.
From there, we made our way to Hotel del Coronado for drinks and a bite to eat. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down, celebrate, and simply enjoy being newly married.
As the evening settled in, we headed to the beach for blue hour portraits. The soft coastal light and the ocean made the perfect backdrop for the final part of their day.
What I loved most was the intention behind it all. This was not simply a day of signing paperwork. It was the beginning of their marriage, and every part of it deserved to feel special.
Being there as Victoria's bridesmaid was already an incredible honor. Being trusted to preserve these moments for them through photography made the experience even more meaningful.
The beginning of your marriage deserves to be remembered beautifully, too.
P.S. I canât wait till I can share her dress fitting photosâĻ
